John Schneider has been chosen as a 2004 Community Champion by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Pittsburgh Foundation and the United Way. Community Champions are a part of a national volunteer recognition program called the Jefferson Awards, which was founded in 1972 by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Sam Beard and U.S. Senator Robert Taft.
John was chosed for his steadfast volunteer service to the Western Pennsylvania region.
